FLOOR TECHNICIAN

​

Part-time Floor Technician in the Rocky Mount area. Applicants must meet ALL the qualifications. Must have a valid drivers license, can pass a Nationwide background check, 2+ years experience in buffing, stripping, waxing floors, general cleaning. 

 

This Job Is a “Fair Chance” job (applicant or the employer follow Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks).

 

Duties:

  • Place wet floor signs.

  • Wipe or clean-up any spills.

  •  Dust mop floor to remove loose dirt.

  • Remove gum and other matter with putty knife.

  • Damp mop and clean floor edges first, then other area.

  • Spray buff tile floors.

  • Responsible floor stripping and waxing tile floors.

Work Location: Multiple locations

 

Hours per week: 30-39 hours 

 

Pay Frequency: Bi weekly or Twice monthly

 

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends required

  • Holidays required

  • Day shift

  • Night shift

  • On call

GENERAL CLEANER

​

Part-time General Cleaner in the Rocky Mount area. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, 1 years of janitorial cleaning experience.


This Job Is a “Fair Chance” job (applicant or the employer follow Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks).


Duties:

  • Collect and remove trash from building and, if needed wash trashcans.

  • Clean desks and tables and polish as needed. 

  • Dust office furniture (chairs, desks, file cabinets and bookshelves).

  • Clean water fountains

  • Clean glass door at entries and reception desks.

  • Clean and sanitize telephones.

  • Vacuum and spot clean carpet areas

  • Clean sinks and polish metal fixtures.

  • Clean mirrors

  • Sweep and mop floors using disinfectant detergent.

  • Refill soap, tissue and towel dispensers (to be furnished by Client).

Hours per week: 20-29 hours 


Pay Frequency: Bi weekly or Twice monthly


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Night shift
